I’ve always been one to enjoy fitness — I just never knew what to do when I was at the gym. I soon found Velox and quickly developed a strong passion for CrossFit. A year into my CrossFit journey, I got pregnant and had my first child.
After having a child, I became extremely motivated to lose the weight I had gained and to get stronger. I attended classes daily and would stay 10-15 minutes after each class with my coaches to work on movements that I was struggling with.
Things were improving quickly, and then I hit a plateau. That is when I learned the biggest key to expanding my ability to be better at CrossFit: That key is nutrition. As soon as I changed my diet for the better, I felt like my ability to perform in the gym took off. I have now been able to compete in 4 RX competitions and plan to do many more.
CrossFit Velox changed not only my life, but my family's life for the better.
